General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) is a three-year and six-month diploma program designed for competitor who wants to track (Pursue) a career in clinical nursing. The programme teaches candidates how to asset doctor, take care of patients and assisting during childbirth in administrative duties for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery. Although the module design of the course modifies from university to university, GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) courses are designed to prepare the students for clinical approach of handling patients and to maintain in order of responsibilities. The module of some universities includes a six-month of internship at the end of the course and the diploma is agreed only after the candidates complete this internship.
